Your opinion of after we die?

When we die, we die. End of story. Our bodies rot, and that's just about it. All the rest is, like you so rightly said, inventions of humans who couldn't stand the reality. Mind you, it's not that we can't stand the thought of no longer existing. We can't stand the thought of OTHERS no longer existing. We don't have any ambition for immortality, but if a loved one dies we like to think that they're not just gone, but they're still around. Heaven, hell, angels in the sky, reincarnation, all such things were created to this purpose.
