Should i ask this guy out and how do i with out embarrssing my self ???

right okay, theres this guy in yr 11, he's like really hot and wears guyliner like guy emos do. he carrys a guitar around with him and is really good at playing it. he has black hair and a cute smile. but the thing is my best friend fancies him aswell and he knows that she does. she gets hugs, high fives off him and he says heloo to her and when ever shes' sitting on the floor in the corridor he will touch her hair. but he don't do that to me. he used to be best mates with my older brother but now there just mates, he always hangs out at the same place as us at school but never talks to us apart from the hello to my mate. but the other day he watched me as he put his guitar in it's case. to make it more helpful to you i'm tallish, have straight blonde hair, wear zip-up fitted hoodies and skinny jeans , i have blus eyes as well . but all the cahavs at school think i'm emo but i'm not. and the guy i'm talking about is not chav . today he set the fire alarm off . so should i ?>???
