I hesitate between doing a master or working (mechanical engineering)?

Not sure what country you are in, but if you're in the US I would continue your education. The job market is so bad here right now that you might not find the kind of job you're looking for. You might just end up wasting your time, whereas if you get your masters you will be more qualified in a couple of years when the job market picks up again.
