One of my mice has gone missing?

Ok so one day I was checking on my mice when I couldn't find one. There is no way it could of escaped because there is six pounds of food on top and there is no sign of the other mouse eating it. Does anyone have any tips I really just can't find it I've also searched around the cage. Also I keep it plenty stoked with food.
