Explosives in space- would they even work?

Explosives based on combustion, like TNT, won't work in space unless they include an oxidizer. Nuclear explosions don't require oxygen. Any successful explosion in space would still cause damage because of the speed of the material itself and the electromagnetic radiation that can be transmitted in a vacuum.
