Do libs like the results to their lib programs when a GOPer beds the VERY liberal relative of Teddy Kennedy?

Libs never like to see funds for social welfare programs cut. I'm not sure what Arnold's relationship with Maria Shriver has to do with this question or this story. It's nice to have some emergency funds saved away for emergencies, but most libs feel that cutting funds for these programs will guarantee there will be future emergencies of a different sort.
